The Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Florida is committed to providing the highest quality of cutting edge vascular surgical care, while training the next generation of premier vascular surgeons, and engaging in research that will allow better understanding and treatment of vascular diseases in the future.

We manage all problems of the circulatory system (arteries and veins outside the heart and brain), from the simplest to the most complex, using both advanced surgical and non-surgical techniques in one of the most comprehensive and best hospitals in the Southeast (Shands Hospital at the University of Florida). All vascular surgeons in the Division are full-time faculty members of the University of Florida and are nationally recognized for their expertise, which spans the full spectrum of vascular diseases.

Our patient care, relationships with referring physicians, and commitment to a "patient friendly" environment are considered a model for the hospital. At the same time, our Vascular Surgery Fellowship is considered among the best in the country.
