Basic Research

The University of Florida Vascular Biology Research Laboratories work to define biologic mechanisms, as well as strategies for prevention and therapy of vascular disease. We have ongoing projects in the following areas:
 

Techniques currently emphasized include in vivo models (rabbit, mouse, canine), microsurgery, molecular and cell biology, histology and immunohistochemistry.
