RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Seagle's research activities have been primarily focused on cleft lip/palate issues. He is Co-PI for an NIDCR sponsored prospective clinical study of outcomes of palatoplasty comparing two cleft palate repair methods. His craniofacial group is in the 9th year of a ten-year study. Also, Dr. Seagle's group has been approved for another study that will follow the mid-face growth in these two patient cohorts. He is the Co-PI for this project as well. In addition Dr. Seagle has been involved in other cleft related studies that have lead to publications, as well as a paper that was presented by one of the residents on breast reduction at a recent meeting.
