RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Warner is currently a categorical PGY-4 general surgery resident
and is a clinical research fellow under the direction of Dr. Lyle L.
Moldawer in the Laboratory of Inflammation Biology and Surgical
Science. Her research interests focus on the genomic and phenotypic
transformation of neutrophils in Acute Lung Injury and Acute
Respiratory Distress Syndrome. Additionally, she is investigating
the translation of a novel neutrophil isolation technique from blood
samples to bronchoalveolar lavage specimens for genomic analysis.
She plans to pursue a career in academic surgery when she completes
general surgery residency in 2012.
