| In order to maintain an efficient and cohesive network environment Computer services has standardized on a few different products. Our primary hardware vendor is Dell. We have an established purchasing and support infrastructure with Dell and most of our recommended workstation, laptop and some other components are Dell products. | |
| This by no means makes it mandatory to purchase Dell products. However opting for alternate vendors or manufacturers creates unique machines within the more homogenous environment which are more difficult to manage and support. |
