General Surgery
The Division of General Surgery consists of 20 surgeons who
treat a broad array of diseases including benign and
malignant gastrointestinal and breast/skin/soft
tissue/endocrine diseases, as well as burn and trauma
injuries.
Faculty in the division are specialty trained in
surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, minimally invasive
surgery, hand surgery, burn surgery, trauma surgery or
critical care. Expertise in complex gastrointestinal,
pancreatic, biliary and cancer surgery is a long-standing
tradition of the division. Highly trained specialists in
minimally invasive surgery have enhanced the surgical
approaches to these diseases.
